In a recent television interview that sent ripples through the religious community, Fiona Kyomugisha, the recently revealed girlfriend of renowned Pastor Jjengo Andrew of “Revival Christian Church, Kawala,” opened up about the challenges she faced while dating the influential clergyman. Fiona’s revelation sheds light on the complexities of love, faith, and the transformative power of a committed relationship.
Fiona Kyomugisha entered the public eye when she was openly introduced during a Sunday service at Revival Christian Church. The relationship with Pastor Jjengo Andrew, however, began before the spotlight found them. In the candid interview, Fiona disclosed that she and Pastor Jjengo had met long before he embraced the calling of the ministry.
What made Fiona’s journey even more intriguing was her initial lack of awareness regarding Jjengo’s background. “We met before he became a pastor,” Fiona explained, “I did not know he was a pastor’s son, and he never told me about it. I only found out when he was forced to address a controversy surrounding his father publicly.”
Despite their deep connection, Fiona expressed concerns about being in a relationship with a church leader, especially since she herself wasn’t born-again at the time. Hailing from a staunch Anglican family in Nakaseke, she found it troublesome to envision herself as a pastor’s wife. “I loved him so much, but it was troublesome for me because I couldn’t see myself becoming a pastor’s wife,” Fiona shared. “I personally was not very religious, did not even know how to pray, but with time, he helped me adjust.”
As their relationship progressed, Fiona’s reservations transformed into acceptance. She not only embraced the Born Again faith but also encouraged her younger brother to join her on this spiritual journey. Jjengo Andrew’s influence played a pivotal role in Fiona’s conversion, illustrating the transformative power of love and commitment.
Presently, Fiona Kyomugisha actively contributes to the Revival Christian Church community. She manages a charity ministry within the church, dedicated to helping disabled children. This commitment reflects her newfound faith and passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others.
