Ugandan General and son of President Yoweri Museveni, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba reacted to his intention of inheriting his father as the President of Uganda. Several people have a belief that Gen. Muhoozi wants to be President.
Surprisingly, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has declined his Presidential bid through his twitter account quoting that he has never thought of inheriting his father as the President of the Republic of Uganda.
The General further noted that he is always happy because of his leadership in this existing generation, and he believes that the generation his already leading will be the greatest.
“Some people keep saying I want to be President? Frankly speaking that has never been in my mind. I’m already the leader of my generation! That’s the highest honour I can think of. Our generation will be the greatest,” Gen. Muhoozi wrote.
It is very difficult for some Ugandan citizens to accept Gen. Muhoozi’s confession because he recently said that he would defeat the opposition side in Uganda if he strives for presidency.
