In a heartening turn of events, the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) has successfully resolved the long-standing rent dispute faced by renowned songstress Lillian Mbabazi. The UNMF, which was formed with the aim of supporting and uplifting local musicians, has taken a decisive step in alleviating the financial burden that had been looming over Mbabazi for the past 18 months.

In an exclusive interview, singer Hanson Baliruno, who is actively involved with the UNMF, shed light on the situation and offered insight into the federation’s role in resolving Mbabazi’s rent dilemma. He stated, “We are working closely together with Lillian Mbabazi in the federation, and she works diligently as the Secretary of the SACCO that was formed by the federation. By God’s grace, Lillian managed to clear her rent fully.”
